Overview

Drive after‑market sales of gas compression services & parts for Enerflex AMS.

Tasks

-Provide support for promotional events to include trade shows, conferences, exhibits and demonstrations for local or national events. -Manage a broad base of high-tech customer accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and act as a liaison between the customers and technical staff. -Sell AMS product line (your primary AMS Product line focus – i.e., gas compression or process/refrigeration) to meet revenue and profitability goals. -Develop new sales prospect lists by researching business activity through potential customer contacts and industry groups. -Participate in weekly sales and departmental meetings and training. -Perform regular sales calls, in-person, targeting assigned customers. -Keep track (digitally) of account activities, generate reports, and manage business transactions with customers while communicating progress with Sales Manager and Branch operational staff. -Attend industry and regional events as required to promote after-market services and learn about industry, project, and operational developments. Additionally, participate in educational activities for customers such as lectures, training, and demonstrations. -Manage existing customers for further development and retention. -Manage customer relationships, sometime after-hours, for further market-share development and retention. -Advise and assist the operations group and other internal team members in the maintenance and enhancement of on-going customer activities and development. -Identify and develop new potential customers from initial contact through job execution and/or the continued management of services and maintenance contracts. -Identify the technical requirements of the customers and collaborate with teammates ensure the customer requirements are appropriately defined, addressed, estimated, and quoted. -Assist in developing marketing materials which address the companies service resources and capabilities. -Perform estimates, budgets, and job scopes in proposal and approval framework to meet the needs of the customer. Additionally, provide essential information to internal teammates for order fulfillment through the operations group.

What You Bring

-Ability to effectively manage and support internal administrative responsibilities as it relates to the lifecycle of a project -High focus on ethical behavior -Combination of field and general office environments with tasks requiring a high degree of time sensitivity -Ability to generate alternative solutions -Communication skills including interpreting and communicating specifications and information. Experience dealing with field management is a plus -Frequently required to work non-business hours including evenings and weekends -Domestic travel may be required -Seeks understanding and possesses excellent listening skills -Minimum of 2 - 4 years of proven success in business within Gas compression/Gas processing industry. Qualified experience may fall in one of more of the following categories: Outside Sales, Business Development, Gas Compression Industry, Field Compression Operations -Familiar with gas compression products and performance traits -High accountability by nature, proven overall dependability, reliability, and responsibility -Computer literacy including competency related to MS-Windows-based applications and CRM software -Work well and collaborate with internal customers including Engineering, Retrofit, Procurement and Operations. -Established understanding of contracts and commercial negotiation skills -Willing to continuously and proactively collaborate, share, and seek guidance through open dialogue -Ability to proactively manage multiple accounts and active business deals -Time management skills including multi-tasking competing priorities as needed
