Instrument Engineer Urgent

Overview

Design and engineer instrumentation and electrical systems for offshore FPSO project.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Ensure designs meet applicable codes and standards (e.g., IEC, ATEX, API, BS, NORSOK). -Interface with vendors, third-party inspectors, and clients to resolve technical queries (TQs) and ensure compliance. -Develop and review electrical and instrumentation design deliverables, including: -Prepare and review technical datasheets, specifications, and material requisitions for electrical and instrumentation equipment (motors, transformers, MCCs, transmitters, analyzers, control panels, etc.). -Perform load calculations, voltage drop, and short-circuit analysis. -Prepare and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) and equipment specifications. -Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, and structural disciplines to ensure seamless integration of E&I systems. -Maintain document control and revision tracking in alignment with project procedures. -Review and approve vendor documentation (drawings, test procedures, GA drawings). -Design control and automation systems, integrating PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems for offshore applications. -Support the development of Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Control Narratives.
