Tasks

As a drafting technician, you will play a key role in a collaborative team focused on the structural design of buildings. Working under general supervision, you will prepare a variety of construction documents, including foundation plans, framing plans, and detailed drawings. Your contributions will be critical in ensuring documents are accurate and complete, as you work closely with engineers to bring designs to life. -Perform drafting and modeling tasks using AutoCAD and Revit with precision and attention to detail. -Ensure all drafting work complies with industry standards, codes, and project requirements. -Collaborate with engineers and design team members to translate concepts into detailed drawings and models. -Create and revise construction documents, including plans, sections, and details. -Organize and manage project documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date records. -Conduct quality checks on drafted documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.

This role requires the regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, as well as occasional visits to job sites that may involve navigating through rough terrain and climbing ladders.
