Tasks

You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and ensuring our services align with evolving client needs across sectors such as energy-from-waste, recycling, construction, and industrial minerals. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, this is a high-impact leadership position that blends strategic planning, operational coordination, and customer-centric delivery. -Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor. -Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform business decisions. -Growth Strategy: Support the development and execution of strategic plans to expand our footprint across core sectors. -Brand Representation: Represent Hargreaves Logistics at industry events, client meetings, and leadership forums. -Operational Alignment: Work closely with traffic, fleet, and depot teams to ensure service excellence and responsiveness. -Commercial Insight: Collaborate with estimating and finance teams to shape proposals, pricing models, and contract terms.
