Tasks

-Review and interpret construction drawings to understand the overall project scope. -Facilitate document control, file management, and project collaboration. -Actively research, solicit and develop sources/vendors to compile and maintain the accuracy of cost information. -Support development of comprehensive cost estimates/models communicating the client’s project and strategic goals. -Provide detailed quantity take-off and preliminary pricing for a variety of construction project types. -Ensure a quality product is presented to the client by adhering to QA/QC procedures.

What You Bring

-Proficient user of On-Screen Takeoff (OST) software or similar quantity takeoff software preferred. -2 - 5 years of experience as a cost estimating professional (ideally in a consulting environment), including conceptual estimating, takeoffs, change order review/reconciliation, and value engineering; prior mechanical trade experience required. -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents (drawings, specifications). -Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel -A bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or architecture is preferred. -Communicate effectively through clear and concise means appropriate to the project goals. -Prior healthcare estimating experience highly desired
