Tasks

-Supports the project trend program -Supports the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports -Assists in the development of quantity takeoffs for a specific discipline or specialty -Performs routine cost estimating, analysis, and control activities, as directed -Assists in developing specific project codes of accounts and recommends appropriate modifications and revisions -Supports the preparation of cost data for proposals or contracts -Assists with budget allocation and reporting/cost control for specific construction discipline or group of disciplines -Assists in the development and application of unit rates (cost and job hours) to quantity takeoffs

What You Bring

-Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience -Skilled in oral and written communication. -Knowledge of financial reporting systems and controller account codes, and an understanding of Controller instructions. -Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing cost engineering functions, which include cost estimating, cost control, and cost analysis, in the field and the home office. -Proficiency with PC operating systems, with proficiency in several software applications. (Ecosys, PowerBI and Microsoft Office Applications, for example). -Statistical knowledge in the areas of sampling, distributions, probability, and hypothesis testing for metrics. -Knowledge of supervision, personnel administration, and training of technical and nontechnical personnel.
