Tasks

-Lead efforts to resolve any escalated issues or disputes in a diplomatic and timely manner, collaborating with internal teams to find solutions. -Facilitate regular meetings and communication channels with the client at multiple levels to review project progress, address concerns, and gather feedback. -Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for AECOM leadership highlighting project status, key sales metrics, and areas for improvement. -Manage the successful delivery of projects by aligning AECOM’s global resources and ensuring resources adhere to local transportation regulations, safety standards, and contractual obligations. -Maintain accurate and organized records of all client interactions, communications, and project-related documentation. -Coordinate with technical teams to ensure that solutions align with the Department's goals and regulatory requirements. -Develop an in-depth understanding of the Department's transportation objectives, initiatives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions and services. -Serve as the primary point of contact between our organization and the Tennessee Department of Transportation, fostering a strong and collaborative partnership. -Stay current with changes in transportation policies, regulations, and industry trends that may impact TDOT's projects or objectives. -Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accurate interpretation and execution of the Department's requirements and expectations. -Monitor the Department's needs and trends within the transportation industry, providing insights and recommendations for strategic initiatives. -Identify opportunities for expanding the scope of services offered to the Department and collaborate with sales teams to develop proposals. -Organize and participate in relevant industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to represent the organization and foster relationships.

What You Bring

-BA/BS in Civil Engineering or related field with 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership -Strong history managing the execution of complex transportation projects and programs, preferably for TDOT. -Tennessee Professional Engineering License preferred. -Proven experience as a Client Account Manager, TDOT Project Manager or in a similar client-facing role within the Tennessee transportation market. -Excellent communication, proposal preparation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with government officials and stakeholders. -Proficiency in using client relationship management tools and software to track project progress and manage client relationships. -Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making. -Proven knowledge of TDOT standards, policies, regulations, and procedures within a government context. -Ability to navigate bureaucratic processes, manage government expectations, and ensure compliance. -Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges and finding solutions. -Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively.
