Design and engineer cloud‑focused data centre products, collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Tasks
-Collaborate closely with cloud customers to understand their design requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and work cross functionally with internal teams (i.e. project management, sales, R&D, engineering, manufacturing) to ensure seamless integration of designs (from concept to full scale manufacturing). -Provide project costing, manufacturing time estimates, and manufacturing bills of materials to support the Global Account Directors serving our cloud customers. -Provide regular reports and updates to the Lead Product Engineer - Cloud Solutions & Innovation on performance, milestones, and potential risks. -Support the development and implementation of standardised engineering practices, ensuring consistency and quality across all regions with all engineering efforts fully aligned with the organisation's brand identity and messaging. -Provide engineering and design expertise, as part of the global engineering team, proposing creative solutions, supporting a culture of creativity, innovation and excellence. -Support the integration of innovative technologies and sustainable engineering practices into product offerings. -Utilise cutting-edge engineering tools and methodologies to create compelling presentations and prototypes. -Complete conceptualisation and visualisation of design projects, in line with Tate's commitment to excellence at each stage of development. -Foster collaborative relationships with key cloud customers to co-create design solutions that meet their evolving needs. -Support the global engineering strategy for Tate products that align with the organisation's market position and enable tailored design solutions to be developed that meet the specific needs and challenges of cloud-based environments.

What You Bring
-Proficiency in design tools and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Onshape (preferred)). -Knowledge of cloud-based environments and their impact on design requirements is preferred. -Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. -Ability to travel occasionally, as required. (primarily regionally, some global travel may be required) -Experience designing integrated modular or skid systems will be advantageous. -Experience designing products/systems for critical infrastructure projects like oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation or data centre is preferred. -Strong attention to detail and planning skills with a track record of driving design innovation.
