Tasks

Estimate costs and materials required and may advise on leasing, real estate and marketing Develop plans, elevations, cross sections and detailed drawings, and advise on selection of colours, finishes and materials, floor and wall coverings, window treatments, interior and exterior lighting, furniture and other items, taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards Develop detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures using computer-assisted design (CAD) software and graphics software Prepare plans and specifications for the final interior designs in accordance with current practices and codes consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements and purpose of space May direct site work crews and subcontractors.

What You Bring

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role Hands on experience with AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs We are looking for artistic, detail-oriented candidates with good interpersonal skills for the position of an interior designer. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for design, extensive knowledge of architecture and design trends, and the ability to provide exceptional consulting services to our clients. Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving design trends and technologies. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field Communication and presentation skills
