The Role
Overview
Assist in power system protection analysis, design, and cost estimation under supervision.

Tasks
-Conduct analyses to develop electrical design options, performing modeling and/or calculations -Work under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer, APM, or PM. -May independently work on small tasks and may assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects. -Assist with preparing cost estimates or specifications. -Perform routine engineering and design tasks and participate in field reviews or construction observation.

What You Bring
-Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation -2 years of experience doing electrical power system analysis, electrical system planning, protective device application, settings and substation design is highly preferred. -Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a SPS Designer position and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression -Computer skills in Microsoft Office -Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. -Bachelor's degree in Engineering
