-Coordinating with Owner and Engineer Representatives during the course of the project -Allocate cost codes to the appropriate field operations and track/maintain quantities to verify subcontractor /supplier billing -Assist with technical information for project & construction management to ensure construction work complies with all construction standards, codes and specifications -Coordinate with Survey as required to facilitate the construction -Assist project management in all job aspects -Provide technical assistance with project scheduling; prepare 3-week look ahead schedule and updates for monthly project schedule submissions -Work with Safety Department to analyze potential job hazards and prepare plan to eliminate risks -Track and compile of materials, equipment, and labor for any/all change orders and field orders -Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports during the course of the project -Assist with Project Submittals, Submittal Acquisition form Subcontractors, and Review Incoming submittals prior to transmitting to the Owner/Engineer
-Minimum of two (2) years of highway, road, and bridge construction experience. -Strong organizational skills with the ability to support all aspects of project management. -Knowledge of safety standards and ability to work with the Safety Department to identify and mitigate job hazards. -Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. -Skilled in assigning and tracking cost codes, verifying subcontractor/supplier billing, and managing project documentation. -Ability to assist in the preparation, review, and coordination of project submittals, including obtaining required documents from subcontractors. -Working knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment, assigned discipline design, and overall engineering standards is necessary. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), project scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project), and construction management tools. -Familiarity with change order processes, including tracking materials, labor, and equipment for accurate cost evaluation. -Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc. -Four (4) year engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
