Tasks
-Coordinate and perform shipment loading and complete required paperwork. -Work in all types of weather. -Identify materials and items being received or shipped and ensure they are the correct items -Maintain accurate records for any and all inventory transactions -Issue material by field requisition, locate and distribute material as directed by craft foreman and direct supervisor. -Receives direct supervision. -Move materials to or from storage or worksites to designated areas, using a hand truck or power device. -Responsible for training new hires on all aspects of the job. -Locate and prepare materials for outbound shipment and notify the supervisor when the shipment is ready. -Aid in directing crew in daily tasks and special projects. -Ensure documentation is complete and accurate and check other employees’ paperwork for errors before completion -Stand in for the supervisor in the event of an absence -Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move material. -Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas. -Load and unload materials within a warehouse or storage facility. -May require delivering material to job sites as needed; acceptable Motor Vehicle Report required for this task. -Inspect and maintain storage yards and warehouses for cleanliness, etc. and report problems to the supervisor. -Perform additional assignments per the supervisor’s request.

What You Bring
-Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch. -Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations. -Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools. -Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects. -Relevant past experience is not necessarily required.
