The Role

Overview

Assist in installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems under senior mentorship.

Tasks

-Support Superintendents and Electrical Foremen to ensure jobsite safety and security -Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components -Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatuses, and components using testing equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the breakdown and correct the problem -Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, as well as ensure compliance with codes -Maintain current Electrician’s License or identification card to meet governmental regulations -Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous -Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools

What You Bring

-OSHA 30 certification preferred -Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and construction safety requirements -3+ years of experience as an Electrician

Benefits

-Pay range is $22.00 - $35.00 an hour
