The Role

Overview

Manage technical and regulatory coordination of track infrastructure with FIA/FIM

Tasks

-Maintain updated interface risk registers, matrix dashboards, and regulatory compliance trackers. -Act as the point-of-contact on behalf of the Client, with FIA and FIM delegates, handling all inspections, approvals, and compliance workflows. -Lead FIA/FIM pre-homologation inspections and track the resolution of all NCRs (Non Conformance Reports). -Support event operations planning, ensuring race-day readiness across all interfaces. -Coordinate the temporary-to-permanent transition strategy for circuit and event infrastructure (e.g., media zones, paddock layout, hospitality). -Oversee design reviews, clash resolutions, and staging logistics related to circuit construction. -Coordinate between track designers, civil contractors, MEP engineers, and PMCM teams to ensure that circuit geometry, barriers, pit buildings, and adjacent infrastructure meet global race standards. -Ensure proper placement of emergency access, marshal posts, run-off areas, lighting, fencing, and spectator safety zones as per FIA/FIM requirements. -Manage interface alignment between track works and adjacent assets: stadium, Supercar Club, Retail/Harrods, and Marina zones. -Participate in VE (Value Engineering), BIM coordination, and simulation reviews for circuit design and event movement. -The Track Interface Coordinator is responsible for managing technical, regulatory, and spatial interfaces between the track infrastructure and all adjoining project zones. This role acts as the primary liaison with FIA/FIM, ensuring all circuit works and adjacent developments (stadium, supercar club, event zones, etc.) comply with international motorsport standards, integrate seamlessly, and support operations, safety, and spectator flow.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Motorsport Engineering, or Project Management. -Proven ability to handle and facilitate the coordination between project’s participants. -10 years plus of relevant experience in being part of similar sports projects.
