AWS Cloud Engineer - DevOps

Overview

Design, build, and automate AWS cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines.

Tasks

-Effectively communicate issues, risks and dependencies with project stakeholders, escalating where appropriate. -Managing production infrastructure with Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc. -Recommend risk mitigation next steps to build out a high availability solution. -Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery. -For cloud environments, establishing new DevOps practices. -Write, Review, and Approve Automation and Infrastructure code. -Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements. -Evaluate potential single-points of failure within the Cloud infrastructure;. -Work with team to design, build and support a robust internal PAAS (platform as a service) capability. -Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions. -Create infrastructure architectural design for IT Cloud deployments. -Apply experience, technical knowledge and innovative techniques to resolve complex Operations challenges. -Work with Project teams to build automation pipelines for application environment deployments.

What You Bring

-Good understanding of CI/CD tools, practices, process & applications like Ansible, Salt, Git, Jenkins, etc. -Understand clients infrastructure and various applications running on the servers. -A desire to engage in continuous learning to ensure knowledge of latest DevOps Technologies and AWS product update. -Knowledge of GCP and Azure cloud would be a plus. -Hands on with AWS cloud and its various services like VPC, EC2, RDS, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, Code Deploy, Cloud Front, S3, Lambda, IOT, Cloud Formation etc. -AWS Solution Architect / DevOps Engineer certification will be preferred. -Able to present and communicate the architecture in a visual form. -7+ Years of Strong experience in Apache/Tomcat, Linux and open source technology stacks.
