Tasks

-Enforce and monitor jobsite safety practices in compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies. -Lead all on-site construction operations for multifamily projects from groundbreaking through closeout. -Maintain detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and provide accurate daily and weekly reporting. -Participate in project meetings, pre-construction planning, and post-project evaluations. -Oversee site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment usage, and site cleanliness. -Identify and proactively address potential delays, conflicts, or safety concerns before they impact project delivery. -Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Owners to communicate project status, resolve issues, and support strategic decisions. -Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and company standards. -Coordinate daily activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure efficient progress.

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for large-scale multifamily developments in the Sarasota area. This is a full-time opportunity with a reputable general contractor recognized for delivering high-quality, on-time, and well-coordinated projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing all day-to-day construction site activities, supervising subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules and quality standards. -Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and specifications. -High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. -Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing. -Proven track record managing projects valued at $20M+ preferred. -Experience as a Superintendent on multifamily or large commercial construction projects. -OSHA 30 certification preferred. -Proficient in construction management software (Procore, BIM 360, or similar).
