Overview
Design electrical systems & drawings for the DOD Sentinel project

Tasks
-Travel to project locations as required. -Assists in the development of electrical design deliverables such as but not limited to: -Equipment specifications for purchasing, installing, operating -Work under the direction of senior engineers/designers to develop design products. -Panel schedule drawings -Ensures electrical systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards such as the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) -Reviews client requirements and incorporates them into a design product -Equipment sizing calculations -Reviews and checks design deliverables for quality, accuracy, neatness, functionality and satisfactory completion -Coordinates the reviews of deliverables between the client as well as other engineering disciplines/functions. Reviews and resolves comments/feedback on the deliverables

What You Bring
-Possess active security clearance -Level I: Requires a University Hire with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering with less than 1 year of relevant work experience. -Prior work experience in multi-project environment and demonstrated flexibility in work assignments. -Ability to execute work independently. -Ability to utilize office automation tools effectively. -Passed Engineering in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering Examination in USA (Electrical Engineering). -Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics and layouts. -Cathodic protection design -Level II: Requires a University Hire with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 1-2 years of relevant work experience. -Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards -Knowledge of power systems load modeling and analysis tools, such as ETAP. -MS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. -Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). -Hands-on experience using AutoCAD. -Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense -Understanding of engineering drawings, systems calculations, equipment sizing and cable sizing. -Lightning protection design
