Tasks

-Complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting sustainable and cost-effective solutions -Provide advanced judgement and analysis techniques to complete complex engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents for wastewater collection systems such as sewer and pump stations -Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff -Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of projects with other engineering disciplines and project management staff -Mentor and inspire junior engineers dedicated to delivering sustainable solutions -Lead challenging wastewater projects that push the boundaries of engineering -Collaborate with talented professionals across disciplines in a flexible work environment -Monitor project progress and performance to ensure efficient production and minimize issues in vital infrastructure

What You Bring

-Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment -Knowledge of various technologies such as oxidation ditches, activated sludge, extended aeration, waste stabilization lagoons, and SBR -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required -Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required -Professional Engineer (PE) license required -Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office -Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred -Knowledge of wastewater design software
