The Role

Overview

Lead surveying team, ensure QA/QC, manage projects, mentor staff.

Tasks

-Supervise and review assignments of less experienced staff. -Direct other technical staff in the design approach to meet project requirements. -Lead the effort for assembling technical survey staff resources for the group. -Understand, identify, and avoid potential safety hazards for workers and the public in and around project sites. -Participate in a wellness program promoting balanced lifestyles -Plan and oversee the quality review process of survey work and project deliverables. -Provide a consultative resource to clients for project resolution. -Promote efficiencies in producing quality work and ensure the accuracy of surveys. -Direct and manage survey staff on the technical aspects of projects, including coordination with all disciplines involved.

What You Bring

-A minimum of 10 years of surveying experience -Demonstrate competency to oversee all survey tasks and further develop subject matter expertise. -Strong communication skills -Must be registered as a land surveyor -The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner -Ability to teach and mentor staff -Associate degree in surveying preferred -Ability to contribute and work well on a team
