The Role

Overview

Night‑shift order picker handling picking, loading, inventory & material movement.

Tasks

-Confirm inventory transactions are complete. -May perform other activities such as assisting in taking inventory and weighing/checking materials. -Pick orders and prepare for shipping, including: stacking, wrapping, and crating products. -Put away received materials to proper storage locations. -Check to ensure subassembly counts are correct and meet a visual quality inspection and report any discrepancies to the fabrication area. -Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment). -Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or equipment. -Participate in clean-up of yard and facility. -Perform all duties in accordance with silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code. -Pick material from warehouse for outbound orders, and ensure they are high quality materials being shipped. -Sort and package fabricated parts onto a cart according to the subassembly list and deliver to point of use in the plant (manually or with equipment).

What You Bring

-Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 40 pounds. -Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures. -Computer literacy. -Time management skills. -Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently. -Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing: Good spoken English and ability to communicate well and understand teammates and supervisors is a must for performance and safety. -Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck.
