Tasks

The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial operations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to support ongoing growth and scalability, strengthening financial systems, processes, and controls across the organization. -Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements and related analyses. -Implement and optimize ERP and accounting systems to support company scalability. -Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with business unit leaders. -Develop and mentor the accounting team to support professional growth and organizational needs. -Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, financial institutions, bonding companies, and insurers. -Direct all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. -Maintain and enhance internal controls, financial policies, and compliance standards. -Manage construction-specific financials such as job costing, WIP schedules, subcontractor compliance, change orders, and accruals. -Support strategic initiatives including market expansion, acquisitions, and system upgrades.

Controller * Must have construction experience -Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance leadership. -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred. -Proven ability to design and scale systems and processes to support organizational growth. -Strong background in construction accounting, including WIP and job cost management. -High integrity, strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. -Demonstrated success leading accounting teams within mid- to large-sized general contracting firms.
