Overview
Director overseeing large petrochemical EPCM projects in cold/arctic conditions

Tasks
-Review and analyze alternatives and options to deliver value through the project scope. -Reporting of cost, schedule, progress, and performance to senior management. -Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communication, risk, procurement, and stakeholders including global integrated delivery (GID) team. -Manage capital expenditures and project finances to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This includes forecasting, tracking spending, and managing change orders. -Identifying and managing project and contractual risks and opportunities. -Developing relationships with customers and vendors. -Championing safety, well-being, sustainability, and management of change processes. -Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), progress, and earned value. -Leading, coaching, and directing multi-disciplined engineering & support teams in all phases of project execution. -Maintaining comprehensive project documents and reports. -Planning & prioritizing project tasks to support the project schedule.

What You Bring
-Proven track record of project management experience on high-value petrochemical EPCM projects. Preference to candidates with significant project experience in cold weather / arctic conditions. -Limited travel to site or other locations as required. -Full life cycle project management experience (Pre- FEED to Commissioning) -Strong interpersonal skills are supported by effective decision making and influential negotiation skills. -Project Management Professional (PMP) designation -Strong leadership, negotiation, and team coordination skills to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively. -Extensive EPCM work experience. -Comprehensive understanding of the project life cycle for high-value petrochemical projects. -A recognized and relevant engineering degree -Previous experience of arctic / cold weather petrochemical projects is highly preferred. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and stakeholder engagement. -Comprehensive understanding of project execution, project management, and project control methodologies. -Leadership experience with a proven track record in leading and delivering large-scale projects ($1Bn+).
