Deputy Director (Vulnerability Management)

Tasks

-Act as SME for vulnerability risk, patching standards, and remediation strategies. -Address high-risk vulnerabilities as part of emergency patch. -Lead the vulnerability management function and own first-line outcomes. -Monitor patch deployments and troubleshoot issues. -Ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards (ISO 27001, NIST). -Ensure integration with SIEM and CMDB. -Coordinate remediation efforts with IT/OT/CIS teams. -Ensure full coverage and alignment with risk tolerance and compliance. -Participate in monthly patch reviews and track compliance. -Analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities using CVSS scores, exploitability, and asset criticality. -Define patch ownership across teams. -Align patch windows and tradeoffs between security, technical and operational risks.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of cloud security, DevSecOps, container security. -8+ years in cybersecurity, 3+ years in vulnerability management. -Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving under pressure. -Experience managing cross-functional remediation projects. -Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field. -Knowledge of scanning tools and frameworks (CVSS, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST). -Understanding of OS, networks, web apps, cloud environments. -Certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, ITIL, PMP.
