Tasks

Reporting to the Sales Director – Quebec, the Technical Representative is responsible for promoting, developing, and providing technical support for AIL products to clients and partners in the Eastern Quebec region. -Represent AIL at regional events, trade shows, and technical presentations. -Develop and maintain business relationships with engineering firms, contractors, distributors, and public organizations. -Conduct site visits, meet clients on location, and ensure quality after-sales service. -Développer et entretenir des relations d’affaires avec les firmes de génie-conseil, entrepreneurs, distributeurs et organismes publics. -Représenter AIL lors d’événements, expositions et présentations techniques régionales. -Provide technical support to clients, including product selection, preliminary design, estimating, and proposal preparation. -Effectuer des visites de chantiers, rencontrer les clients sur le terrain et assurer un service après-vente de qualité. -Actively promote AIL’s products and solutions to market decision-makers and influencers. -Promouvoir activement les produits et solutions d’AIL auprès des décideurs et influenceurs du marché. -Collaborate with engineering, production, and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction. -Collaborer avec les équipes d’ingénierie, de production et de logistique afin d’assurer la satisfaction client. -Participate in project planning and follow-up from design through to delivery.

Qualifications et compétences recherchées Work location: Eastern Quebec (remote work with travel within the territory) Relevant du Directeur des ventes – Québec, le représentant technique est responsable de la promotion, du développement et du soutien technique des produits AIL auprès des clients et partenaires dans la région de l’Est du Québec. -Diplôme d’études collégiales ou universitaires en génie civil, construction, ou domaine connexe. -Salaire compétitif selon l’expérience. -Habiletés démontrées en communication, négociation et service à la clientèle. -3 to 5 years of experience in technical sales, representation, or the civil engineering field (a strong asset). -Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, is mandatory. -Excellente compréhension des plans et devis techniques. -Participer à la planification et au suivi des projets (de la conception à la livraison). -Fournir un soutien technique aux clients : sélection de produits, conception préliminaire, estimation et préparation de soumissions. -Permis de conduire valide et disponibilité pour des déplacements fréquents dans la région. -Bonne connaissance du marché de la construction et des firmes de génie-conseil de l’Est du Québec. -Excellent comprehension of technical drawings and specifications. -Gamme complète d’avantages sociaux. -Valid driver’s license and availability for frequent travel within the region. -Formation technique et soutien continu. -Maîtrise des outils informatiques (Microsoft Office, CRM, etc.). -College or university degree in civil engineering, construction, or a related field. -Solid understanding of the construction market and engineering firms in Eastern Quebec. -3 à 5 ans d’expérience en vente technique, en représentation ou dans le domaine du génie civil (atout majeur). -Proficiency with computer tools (Microsoft Office, CRM, etc.). -Bilinguisme (français et anglais) obligatoire, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit. -Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. -Ability to work independently and manage one’s territory effectively. -Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et à gérer efficacement son territoire.
