Tasks

-Assist in incident investigations. -Work with the Safety and Training departments to identify and develop training. -Ensure safety and sustainability are always front of mind of all personnel. -Lead ICAM Investigator (or equivalent) Statement of Attainment. -Coaching and mentoring of project personnel on safety systems and best practices. -Assist in site communications i.e. Pre-Start, Toolbox. -Regularly review onsite practices against the project risk register and management plans. -Conduct inspections, risk activity reviews and observations as per project requirements. Including the coaching and mentoring of inspection processes to project field leadership. -Assist in regular risk activity workshops, providing expert and practical input. -Identify, monitoring and report any emerging risks to project team. -Lead by example by promoting a positive work health and safety culture. -Actively participate in and drive a culture of collaboration, discipline, innovation, adaptability to change and care.

What You Bring

-Capability of using WHS management and technique tools/software. -Ability to positively identify all potential and imminent hazards on a site and be able to address them in a positive and proactive manner with project field leadership. -Trade based qualification – Electrical Fitter / Substation Technician / Line worker -Safety Lead Auditor Qualification. -Management & Leadership 4 years. -WHS Practitioner (5-6 years) in Transmission, Distribution or Renewables. -Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or Cert IV in WHS. -Audit Management practices 2 to 3 years.
