Senior Quantity Surveyor managing commercial and cost aspects for water infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Ensuring that proper records (including final accounts) are kept & maintained so financial information for audits and cost assurance is readily available. -Ensure robust cost management processes are always undertaken with accurate and timely reports, data and analysis on hand to assist in commercial decisions. -Manage all aspects of commercial and cost management of a project or group of projects as designated by the Project Commercial Manager. -Work in collaboration with the Delivery Team to identify, implement and monitor efficiency plans throughout the lifecycle of a project or programme of projects. -Ensure that all project team members (including site staff) understand the contractual arrangements, in order to satisfy Client & Partner organisation requirements.

What You Bring

-Quantity Surveying Degree or equivalent. -Experienced in delivering large scale projects including civil, mechanical, infrastructure and non-infrastructure type work -Previous experience working in a complex matrix team environment. -Proven experience of Quantity Surveying with relevant professional qualification e.g. RICS, CIOB, ICE -Have an awareness of NEC3 forms of contract. -Experience using SAP e.g. Finance, Procurement, ALM. -Previous experience drafting construction contracts -A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across your operational region -Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
