The Role

Overview

Manage purchase orders, vendor shipping, customs, and coordinate with ops & accounting.

Tasks

-Communicate and coordinate with brokers for customs clearance -Respond to emails and tasks as quickly as possible -Provide LightForm Sales Reps with shipping quotes -Arrange for shipping from vendors and fulfill the orders -Communicate with accounting departments to confirm deposits, balance of payments, or pending invoices/dues -Contact vendors for latest price lists and updates -Negotiate with freight forwarders for better rates -Communicate with vendors for order confirmations, shipping dates, package details, and ready-to-ship dates -Create and send purchase orders within Lightforms ERP system -Work with LightForm Customer Service on Returns, VRMAs, and RMAs -Arrange shipping from LightForm stores to clients -Calculate freight costs on item landed costs

What You Bring

-Excellent verbal and written communications skills -1 year of experience with purchasing both domestic and foreign -Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system -Excellent computer skills -Strong organization skills and attention to detail -Experience with and knowledge of customs procedures -Excellent negotiation skills -Knowledge and proficiency with inventory management software -Ability to communicate in Spanish or Italian considered an asset -Experience shipping with FedEx and other (inter)national carriers -Ability to work independently and with a team
