Overview

Lead mechanical teams on water utility projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule.

Tasks

-Identifying issues arising on site and problem solving. -Inspecting daily work to meets plans, quality, and project standards. -Planning, calculating and monitoring daily cost of resources and working to budgets -Conduct Toolbox talks and prestart meetings. -Ensuring compliance to all safety requirements including SWMS, WHS and Safety regulations. -Arranging supplies of materials and equipment and verifying delivery.

What You Bring

-Experience as an Electrical Supervisor working on M&E and/or civil projects -You will have experience taking full OH&S responsibility on site -Ideally you will have exposure to capital upgrades in Water and/or Wastewater Treatment Facilities -A positive attitude and ability to motivate trades and subcontractors -Proven work experience in similar position for a large construction/water utilities project -Proven commitment to leading safety, quality and environmental compliance on site -Leadership of self perform and sub contracted work teams -Strong people management skills, the ability to develop effective teams
