Project Accountant

Overview

Handles invoicing, contracts, budgeting, and accounting using Deltek for projects.

Tasks

-Provides assistance to Project Managers and Corporate Leadership in account collections, receivables and payables. -Responsible for invoicing in compliance with corporate policies and procedures. -Maintenance of contract information, which includes, but is not limited to maintaining accurate files of client and subcontractors agreements. Will work closely with Project Managers & Principals in preparation of project budgets and other pertinent contract information. -Responsible for setup and maintenance of projects in Deltek Vision accounting software. -Works closely with the Project Managers tracking monthly invoices, additional service requests and change orders. This may require visiting other offices on occasion. -Works closely with clients and subcontractor’s accounting departments.

What You Bring

-Detail-oriented problem solver. -AEC industry experience is a plus -Ability to work independently and be deadline driven. -Excellent verbal and written communications skills. -2+ years of experience -Prefer accounting or finance degree. -Proficiency with accounting software packages, Deltek Vision / Vantagepoint preferred, Microsoft Excel and Word. -Strong analytical skills.
