Overview

Manages credit, collections, and accounts receivable while maintaining customer relationships.

Tasks

-Gathers facts about any disputes, refers the disputed issues to the appropriate department, follows up on the status of the dispute, and makes sure information is provided with the Credit Manager to enter into the dispute log -Responds to management’s inquiry as to account status -Researches accounts and prepares adjustments for zero wash refunds and reapplies misapplied or unapplied payments -Prepares and participates in account review meeting, including monthly A/R review meeting -Makes collection calls (10 to 20 each day) -Plans out call schedule for the day -Sends collection letters, including: reminder letter, pre-COD, and ten-day demands letter -Completes previous day’s credit ratings -Prints follow up list from Wynne system or DBS -Handles incoming calls to give verbal credit approvals for rentals -Helps internal customers with credit exceed calls and external customers with information about their account -Prepares accounts when they are assigned to the Legal Account Specialist, including gathering credit information, invoice copies, and summary of the collection history

What You Bring

-1+ years of credit or finance experience -Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing -High School Diploma or GED -Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel -Safety & Product Knowledge -Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds -Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Access -Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills
