Tasks

-Recommend SOP revisions; -Ensure that deadlines are met; -Provide input to performance management; -Follow all laboratory safety rules and regulations; -If required Level II validate data; -Perform analyses on samples and complex sample preparation; -Coordination of laboratory projects; -Ensure that instruments and equipment are appropriately maintained; -Provide input to corrective action procedures; -Follow up on contaminations, interferences with the laboratory; -Ensure that quality control criteria are met for all reported data; -Generate reports with results and fax to the client; -Keep their work area clean, neat and organized; -Use summary reports to plan and organize work; -Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure accuracy and quality of work; -Approve data generated (Level I validation) for which the analyst has been trained and validated; -Sign the reports; -Contribute to daily and weekly planning;

Biology or Microbiology (or MIFI equivalency);
