The Role

Tasks

-Coordinate and compile data for timely and accurate filing of quarterly federal lobbying disclosure reports. -Provide support for volunteer and other external events, as needed. -Assist in the preparation of budgets. -Review and approve postings for PPL’s internal events calendar. -Provide administrative support to department leadership, including calendar management, meeting preparation, travel planning and follow-up, etc. -Distribute approved mass email communications. -Create and manage a central repository for Public Affairs messaging documents, plans, job aids, etc. to enhance collaboration and access to up-to-date information. -Maintain detailed records and support PAC operations, including preparation and submission of required compliance filings such as Federal Election Commission (FEC) quarterly reports. -Support intake, processing of, and response to corporate sponsorship requests and PPL Foundation grant applications. -Monitor for comments on internal articles and forward to subject matter experts for appropriate follow-up or response. -Conduct research and prepare summaries, as requested, to support Public Affairs decision-making. -Create contract requisitions and support invoice processing, response and issue resolution tied to Public Affairs/Corp Comm contracts. -Assist with drafting executive correspondence. -Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency. -Manage and process disbursements for corporate Political Action Committees (PACs), ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. -Serve as a liaison with other departments, as needed, to provide troubleshooting and technical support for team members. -Manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism. -Post approved articles on PPL’s internal communications channel. -Support smooth onboarding of new employees to Public Affairs team (systems access, equipment, etc.).

What You Bring

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools. -Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year-for-year basis with experience in operations, project coordination, or executive support. -Strong analytical and organizational skills. -Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. -Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
