Tasks

-Participate in the site/facility QHS meetings, actively promoting environmental awareness and Health and safety standards -Provide cover for the Site Operations Manager role as and when required -Work with the site management team to ensure day-to-day site operations are run in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements. -Provide daily tasks to, and supervise a team of operatives ensuring priorities in line with site requirements. -Provide adequate and appropriate training to ensure site operations have sufficient resources. -Manage the day to day running of the shift teams on the SLF plant., including staff holidays and sickness management etc

What You Bring

-FLT trained -Previous work within the waste treatment or chemical processing industry, plant control systems and equipment -Driving licence advisable -Knowledge of COMAH / MAH / OSSOW (Operational Safe Systems of Work) -Knowledge of quality, health, safety and environmental systems
