Tasks

Undertaking preliminary and detailed contaminated land assessments, preparing PSI and DSI Assessment Reports, site management plans and remediation action plans The role will involve forming providing technical oversight and strategic and practical solutions to clients with environmental management challenges. Engaging with clients and other disciplinary teams to determine innovative solutions to complex environmental problems Providing mentoring and technical oversight to the contaminated land/waste team Initiation, planning, leading and executing complex contaminated land/waste projects, including soil, vapour, surface water, wastewater and groundwater assessments A seat at the table in shaping company strategy and regional growth.

What You Bring

8+ years’ experience in contaminated land and remediation projects. Strong knowledge of WA environmental legislation Experience in contaminated land assessments with exposure to a wide range of environmental and engineering situations Strong communication, well develop report writing, and project management skills. Demonstrated experience in site supervision, managing site investigations and various sampling methods including soil and groundwater. Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology Knowledge of NEPM as well as health & safety best practice principles The candidate must have a great eye for detail, a sense of practicality in regard to legislative and technical interpretation, and the ability to find pragmatic solutions.
