Tasks
-Mentorship: Work under the guidance of experienced professionals to gain practical insights and industry knowledge. -Estimating: Assist in preparing cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment. -Quality Control: Participate in quality control checks to ensure that the drywall installation meets specifications and standards. -Communication: Help with communication between the subcontractor and other parties, including general contractors, suppliers, and clients. -Training: Participate in training sessions to learn about drywall installation techniques, construction safety, project management, and other relevant topics. -Software Use: Utilize construction management software for scheduling, budgeting, and project tracking. -Coordination: Coordinate with different trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines. -Scheduling: Assist with creating and maintaining project schedules. -Site Visits: Regularly visit construction sites to observe progress and understand the practical aspects of drywall installation. -Documentation: Assist with maintaining project documentation, such as contracts, permits, and safety records. -Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations on the job site, including participating in safety meetings and inspections. -Assisting Technicians: Support experienced drywall installers with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and installing drywall. -Material Management: Help in ordering, tracking, and inventorying materials. -Troubleshooting: Help identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process.

What You Bring
-Blueprint Reading: Learn to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans. -Experience using PROCORE and or Bluebeam is a plus. -Ability to prioritize work to maximize efficiency. -Strong communication skills, both verbal & written. -Proficient in Microsoft Office. -Currently enrolled in a college/university in a bachelors degree program in Construction Management.
