Field Service Engineer

Overview

Install, service, and maintain power and temperature control equipment on-site, including offshore.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Deliver no break sync applications - grid lock -Installation of power products on customer site -Commission of TC products on customer site -Attend equipment breakdowns -Deliver TC/MC applications -Telemetry installation in field -Carry out load testing using sigma PC software -Installation of TC products on customer site -Deliver generator applications - Motor starting and variable voltage -Carry out F Gas checks -Service and maintain Diesel driven Generators to a high standard -Commission and decommissioning of power products on customer site

What You Bring

-A City and Guilds/ONC level 3 qualification or equivalent (Mechanical and or Electrical) -Good organisational & communication skills -Fit data loggers & power analysers -Able to manage a client’s expectations when under pressure, regardless of the situation -Well organised and capable of keeping vehicle to GSCS standards -Be able to operate fleet load bank -For all field roles – offshore work is required so individual must be trained or willing to be trained. -Good level of PC literacy including basic MS Office applications -Experience of Generator controls, Deepsea, Dief etc. -Must be able to work out of hours as and when required, and be part of the on-call rota -Must hold a full, clean and valid driving licence -Technical capability (power and ideally temperature control)
