Shift journeyman lineworker troubleshooting transmission and distribution issues.

Tasks
-Patrols transmission and distribution systems locating and correcting trouble. Investigates customer inquiries. -Answers alarms and performs necessary work to protect company’s equipment -Performs all the direct duties of the Journeyman Lineman-FS. -Makes recommendations for crewing and equipment required to make temporary and/or necessary repairs.

What You Bring
-Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver’s license within six (6) months. -Thorough knowledge of the company’s Energy Control system. -Working knowledge and adherence to the provisions of the Safety Rules applicable to work performed. -Ability to direct other employees. -Strength and endurance to perform the above duties. -Working knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used to perform the above duties. -Satisfactory performance as Journeyman Lineman-FS and successful completion of the Journeyman Lineman’s units of instruction. -Working knowledge of computer-based systems pertaining to the job. -Ability to interpret sketches, diagrams, and specifications.
