Overview

Manage build team to deliver modular units on time, within budget, to quality standards.

Tasks

-Analyse snagging reports, provide feedback to the team, and prevent recurrence of issues -Drive continuous improvement in build processes, quality, and efficiency -Uphold high health & safety standards at all times -Motivate the team to achieve performance targets while maintaining quality -Control labour and material usage to ensure builds remain within budget -Manage and coordinate the build team to ensure units are completed according to the production schedule -Ensure work meets company quality standards at all stages -Maintain repeatable and efficient build methods -Support skill development within the team and identify potential future supervisors -Track build progress against allocated time for each stage and discuss variances with the Production Manager -Review build performance against budgeted costs and investigate variances with management -Verify completion and documentation of all required quality checks -Monitor individual and team productivity, addressing issues or recognising strong performance

What You Bring

-Proven experience achieving build targets and maintaining high quality standards -Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills -Ability to oversee daily build operations and adjust resources as required -Strong leadership and team-management abilities -Previous supervisory experience within construction, manufacturing, or modular builds -Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members -Knowledge of quality control, health & safety regulations, and lean manufacturing principles -Comfortable managing deadlines and high-pressure situations -Authority to halt unsafe or poor-quality work and escalate issues when needed -Quality- and safety-focused mindset -Lead by example with strong housekeeping, organisation, and professional behaviour -Health & Safety qualifications are desirable -Solid understanding of construction or manufacturing processes -Problem-solving capability and strong attention to detail
