The Role

Overview

Conduct asbestos/HAZMAT inspections, sampling, reporting, and abatement oversight.

Tasks

-Prepare associated asbestos and/or HAZMAT inspection reports. -Prepare samples for laboratory analysis, including Chain of Custody documentation. -Perform asbestos and/or HAZMAT inspection and sampling. -Complete post-abatement verification inspection and associated reporting. -Oversee and document asbestos and/or HAZMAT abatement operations. -Review and interpret laboratory results.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with EPA and EGLE standards, specifications, and guidelines. -2+ years of experience in fields related to asbestos and/or HAZMAT surveys, sample preparation, and report writing. -Experience with demolition projects. -Proficiency in MS Office suite and ability to use a tablet. -Current State of Indiana Asbestos Inspector License or ability to take a refresher course to make it current. -Experience with air monitoring, lead assessment/risk analysis, and other industrial hygiene practices.
