The Role

Overview

Oversee 2nd shift assembly line, ensure safety, quality, schedule, and team performance.

Tasks

-Work closely with purchasing, planning and warehouse teams to ensure materials availability and schedule adherence. -Adhere to production schedule by prioritizing tasks, assigning personnel to work areas, supervising progress, making personnel adjustments, resolving line constraints problems, and reporting results through shift production summaries. -Supervise, train, and mentor the team; set goals, supervise performance, conduct employee review meetings, and schedule formal training. -Improve safety for all personnel working in and around the production lines by implementing measures to decrease production errors, improve product quality, and boost efficiency. -Maintain working relationships with local union by following the collective bargaining agreement.

What You Bring

-Highschool diploma or equivalent. -Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics. -Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. -2+ years of successful experience in an Assembly/Manufacturing or related field. -Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. -Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) -Lean manufacturing experience. -Supervisor Experience. -Project management experience. -Mechanical proficiency with experience using hand tools and proficient with Microsoft office.
