Tasks

-Perform SUE/utility locating on a variety of type projects -Represent McAdams in a safe and professional manner - exhibiting honesty, practicing good ethics, and adhering to traffic laws/practicing safe driving habits -To support the Geomatics team with a variety of CAD plus office related responsibilities

What You Bring

-Must be willing to learn and operate Survey equipment (total stations and GPS) -Must be willing to travel to and from sites -Learn and work with different equipment such as EM, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and vacuum excavation equipment -Individual will have good technical skills; behavioral traits of process oriented, steady, helpful, honest, trustworthy, adaptable, analytical, problem solver, likes work alone when required, methodical, consistent, detail oriented, precise, hates mistakes and likes structure -Must have at least 1-2 years of survey experience -Must have experience in previous jobs or do no mind working outside on a regular basis preferably in extreme conditions -Strong use of MicroStation -High School diploma, GED or equivalent required -Highly knowledgeable in MicroStation Drafting, Geomatics Technology, Engineering Technology or related field -Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record -Right to Work (English/Spanish) -E-Verify (English/Spanish) -Must be willing to work on a vacuum excavation truck to perform utility locating -Learn about different utility systems and how each works and is installed -Must be able to pass a drug test
