Tasks

-Documentation and Reporting: Ensures that the quality team’s Quality documentation is maintained and up to date, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, corrective action plans, and project quality plans. Provides regular reports to senior management on the status of Quality initiatives, non-compliance issues, and corrective actions. Presents findings to Owner’s Representative as needed. -Compliance: Stays up to date with construction regulations, standards, and best practices, ensuring the company complies with local, state, and federal building codes and safety regulations. Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on industry-leading quality practices, providing guidance and expertise to uphold and enhance standards. -Ensures psychological safety for everyone at project level/department. -Quality Audits: Conducts regular QC audits of project job sites, and issues formal QC Audit results/actions. -Quality Leadership: Develops, implements and manages the company’s overall Quality program to ensure high standards are maintained across all projects. -Team Leadership: Leads, mentors, and motivates a diverse team of Quality professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment, ensuring effective communication, and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization. -Training and Development: Leads the development and delivery of training programs for field and office teams to improve quality practices and awareness. Promotes a culture of continuous improvement. -Supplier and Subcontractor Management: Evaluates the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and industry standards. -Problem Resolution: Identifies and addresses quality issues in a timely manner, working collaboratively with project teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.

What You Bring

-Possesses a strong self-awareness, empowering them to make changes and to build on their areas of strength as well as identify areas where they would like to make improvements. -Expert understanding of three phase QC. -Proven ability to close out and commissioning of projects. -Typically, a minimum of fifteen years’ experience in quality management, quality assurance as a Building Inspector, Inspector of Record (IOR) or special inspector with a minimum ICC master special Inspector certification with experience in both public and private sector projects. -Proficiency in quality management software and tools. -Proven ability to identify, manage, develop, and mentor staff and teams and make difficult team decisions. -Capable of analyzing data, identifying trends, and offering insights into Quality improvements.. -Strategic understanding of Jurisdictional process and compliance. -Experience working on OSHPD projects preferred. -Strategic knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO, HCAI, DSA, NAVFAC/USACE QCM,). -Advanced understanding of applicable codes, standards, and compliance requirements. -Able to ensure project goals and expectations are realistic, achievable, and revisited/revised at appropriate times during the life of the project. Holds others and themselves accountable. -Bachelor’s degree in quality management, engineering, or a related field or equivalent preferred, or equivalent experience. -Proven ability to manage, collaborate and partner with SI's (Special Inspectors) -Demonstrated ability to promote Webcor’s core values internally and externally and exemplifies Webcor’s commitment to diversity and inclusion in everything they do. -Certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), International Code Council (ICC) or NAVFAC QCM or ICC Combination Inspector, HCAI Class A IOR, DSA Class 1 or 2 IOR Certification is required.
