Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and training for cement products to customers and sales.

Tasks
-Provide proactive consultation to cement commercial group customers in the areas of product performance, best practices, technical information research, troubleshooting, and technical training. -Provides regular correspondence on product performance and customers results -Interacts with architects, engineers and specifying agencies to promote and specify company products -Provide technical assistance to any cement account that requires support for issues relating to concrete with cement. -Acts as a technical liaison as required with Regional Technical Directors, Concrete Labs, Sales, and Manufacturing facilities -Assist with resolution of customer product issues and maintains internal company records. -Identification and incorporation of service and product improvement opportunities -Participates in resolution of long-term product development and product issues. -Coordinate and facilitate competitive analyses for establishment and review of internal quality objectives. -Provide internal technical training and education to the cement commercial sales force, the cement and/or masonry customer base and industry personnel. -Assist with plant and terminal internal audits and improvements -Act as liaison between sales and production on plant quality teams. -Oversees timely concrete testing program and sample management policy -Keeps up to date on product performance of internal products verses competitive products -Proactively participate in promotion efforts relating to cement based and related products in coordination with Sales team. -Develops relationships with DOTs and other specifiers

What You Bring
-Presentation skills with the ability to communicate with leadership teams are preferred. -Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is required. -Ability to travel with minimal notice; travel requirement approximately 40%. -Interpersonal skills including building relationships, developing trust, and resolving conflict. -Fit for Duty Baseline Physical (if applicable) -5-10 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally cement or concrete materials. -Solid understanding of customer needs and operations leveraging Performance Innovations, and delivering customer solutions -Rapid identification of product changes to Sales and Marketing -Motor Vehicle Record Check -Ability to follow established process and procedures and ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects at a time -Technical knowledge of concrete and other building materials with a clear understanding of industry standards and codes. -Ability to understand the technical aspects of a customer’s products, systems, and applications. -Active involvement in technical organizations such as the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and ASTM, as well as various ready-mix concrete and precast/prestress organizations with emphasis at the local or regional level. -Proven incident and problem solving (troubleshooting) skills with an emphasis on timely resolution. -Excellent project management & problem-solving abilities and attention to detail are required. -5-Panel Drug Screen -Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use data to develop insights and actions, are required. -Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager, Technical Services Engineer or Certified Concrete Technologist in the building materials industries is preferred.
