HSE Officer - (High-Rise Construction)

Tasks

Responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at high-rise tower project sites to ensure compliance with local regulations, company standards, and international HSE best practices. -Maintain updated HSE logs, inspection records, permits, and statutory documentation. -Ensure adherence to company HSE policy, procedures, and legal requirements at the tower construction site. -Participate in root cause analysis and assist in implementing corrective actions. -Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors for implementing safe work practices. -Ensure fire-fighting equipment, first-aid facilities, and emergency evacuation plans are in place. -Promote a positive safety culture and encourage reporting of near misses and unsafe conditions. -Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports for submission to management and consultants. -Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities during safety inspections and audits. -Monitor site activities and proactively identify potential hazards. -Record and report accidents, incidents, and near misses. -Conduct periodic emergency drills and evaluate effectiveness. -Conduct daily site safety inspections and ensure compliance with method statements and risk assessments. -Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training for workers and subcontractors.

What You Bring

-Education: Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety. -Understanding of scaffolding safety, work-at-height safety, lifting operations, and tower crane safety. -Experience: 3–5 years of HSE experience in high-rise tower construction projects in UAE/GCC. -Familiarity with UAE safety regulations, local authority requirements, and international safety standards (OSHA/ISO 45001). -Certification: NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent), OSHA, First Aid & Fire Fighting Training.
