Tasks

-As the mechanical engineer of record for assigned projects, using your professional engineering license to sign and seal mechanical drawings developed under your supervision. -Ensure you and your family receive the services needed to support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. -Reviewing relevant codes, design documents, specifications, and construction documents to support project development. -Develop mechanical calculations, reports, studies, specifications, and design drawings such as equipment arrangement, PFD, AFD, P&IDs, and isometric drawings, for water, steam, air, gas, oil systems.

What You Bring

-Professional Engineering (PE) license in US. -Ability to coordinate interdisciplinary team of engineers and designers to complete project tasks on schedule and on budget. -Experience in HVAC and Fire Protection design is an asset -Minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering leadership position -The successful candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be capable of collaborating with the multi-discipline engineers and designers -Minimum 10 years of experience in the design of mechanical systems for convention generation (fossil fueled) power plants. -Experience with industry standard engineering software such as AFT Fathom and AFT Arrow, etc. -M.S. in Mechanical Engineering is an asset -Ability to develop material and workhour estimates as well as engineering and design schedules. -Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university. -Functioning as the mechanical discipline lead on a project. -Experience with Autodesk Plant3D is an asset
