Tasks

-- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and calculations to ensure accuracy and quality of work -- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams and subcontractors -- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop and implement project plans and schedules -- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on all construction sites -- Coordinate and oversee technical aspects of civil construction projects, including site preparation, foundation work, structural design, and building systems -- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in construction technology and techniques -- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and identify any potential issues or delays -- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions to technical problems or challenges that may arise during construction -- Review and interpret project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with engineering standards and local regulations

What You Bring

-- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field -- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes -- Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations -- Experience with project management and coordination -- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -- Valid UAE driving license is preferred -- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software -- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment -- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities -- Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil construction, preferably in the UAE
