Tasks

-Weld Map Isometric drawings. -Perform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine compliance. -Climbing up and down stairs and ladders while working on scaffolds and in trenches to access work. -Enter welding and inspection information into tracking tools. -Write inspection and assess plans (I&TP’s). -Perform weld inspections. -Assist with pressure testing plans and functions. -Review welding requirements and ensure welding procedures comply. -Provide support and training to other inspectors. -Review and File NDE/NDT Reports. -Comply with all company policies and procedures. -Create and implement Project Quality Assurance Plans. -Assemble and review project documentation packages. -The use of respirators if required by projects Quality Control Inspector. -Work with NDE personnel for planning and execution of work.

What You Bring

-Walking on uneven terrain for extended periods. -Driving if required to travel to and from locations. -Lifting up to 50 pounds. -Extensive knowledge of reading and understanding drawings. -Knowledge of NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT) with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A documented training/hands on hours. -Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills. -Ability to travel and relocate as needed. -Efficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. -Elevated level of organizational skills. -If driving is required, a valid driver's license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search. -Must be a quick learner and motivated. -Well-rounded with ASTM standards and materials. -Ability to work in a challenging environment. -Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers Quality Control Inspector. -Have a current AWS CWI or ASNT VT II or ability to pass the VT II exam. -Must be able to work as a team. -Occasionally you may need to kneel, reach, or stoop. -Standing for extended periods.
