Tasks
This is a full-time role requiring site visits and close collaboration with multiple teams. Join ALEMCO and lead the way in technical engineering solutions that shape the future. -Assess and certify subcontractor interim and final payment applications. -Identify contractual risks and advise on mitigation strategies. -Prepare, submit, and defend contractual claims, variations, and extension-of-time (EOT) submissions. -Liaise closely with the Commercial Manager, MEP teams, and project stakeholders to resolve disputes and protect company interests. -Compile and submit accurate monthly cost/value reconciliations and commercial reports. -Manage and administer MEP subcontractor and supplier contracts. -Support project close-out, including final account agreements. -Support negotiation of contractual and commercial issues with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. -Maintain accurate records of correspondence, agreements, and contract changes. -Ensure compliance with project contracts, FIDIC conditions, and client requirements.

Are you a detail-driven leader with expertise in MEP Contract Quantity Surveying? Join us to deliver world-class systems for iconic projects in the UAE. We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Contract Quantity Surveyor to oversee commercial, contractual, and cost management aspects of our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. The role requires strong expertise in contract administration, claims management, subcontractor coordination, and commercial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget and aligned with contractual obligations. -Proven experience managing subcontractor accounts and preparing commercial reports. -Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction contracts (especially FIDIC), and claims preparation. -Proficiency in contract management tools and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). -Experience with BIM 360, Navisworks, and Power BI dashboards (preferred). -Detail-oriented, commercially astute, and proactive in problem-solving. -Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline. -Excellent communication and negotiation skills. -Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEP Quantity Surveying, with at least 2+ years focused on contract administration.
