Tasks

-Manage and coordinate with outside counsel in connection with litigation and dispute matters -Monitor and communicate legal developments and trends impacting the renewable energy, solar, and construction industries -Advise management on employment law issues and support internal employee relations investigations, in collaboration with HR -Travel as needed to support business operations -Provide day-to-day legal support to business and project teams on contract risk management, change orders, claims, and dispute resolution -Provide training and guidance to project and operations teams on contract interpretation, risk management, and negotiation best practices -Work collaboratively with business leaders to identify, assess, and resolve legal issues in a practical, business-oriented manner -Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including prime contracts, subcontracts, vendor agreements, professional services agreements, and purchase orders

What You Bring

-Experience in insurance coverage, claims and/or related litigation is a plus -Broad-based legal expertise, including contract negotiation, litigation management, and employment law counseling -Experience in construction and/or renewable energy/solar strongly preferred -Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience (ideally 5–7 years) gained in a law firm and/or in-house role -Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and provide timely, practical advice -Juris Doctor (J.D.); admitted and in good standing to practice law in Florida (or eligible for in-house counsel admission in Florida) -Excellent judgment, communication, and negotiation skills
