Tasks

-Code Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to building codes and safety regulations. -Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and supervisors to address inquiries and provide updates. -Energy Management: Implement energy-saving measures to ensure all systems operate at peak efficiency. -Impactful Work: Contribute to the smooth operation of critical infrastructure for a major telecommunications client. -Work Order Management: Efficiently manage and complete assigned work orders, estimating time and materials needed, and tracking progress. -Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and repair reports. -Plumbing & Electrical Maintenance: Handle basic plumbing tasks like clearing drains (snaking), repairing/replacing P-traps, and perform minor electrical repairs such as changing ballasts and other electrical components. -Preventative Maintenance & Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance. -HVAC Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine preventative maintenance, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems, including but not limited to, troubleshooting, component replacement, and system optimization.

What You Bring

-Plumbing & Electrical Skills: Basic plumbing and electrical experience, including the ability to clear drains, repair P-traps, and perform minor electrical tasks (e.g., changing ballasts). -Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future -Technical Skills: Ability to follow basic work routines and standards, and the ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). -Communication & Organization: Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, and an inquisitive mindset. -EPA Certification: EPA Universal certification is required. -Physical Requirements: Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads (50 lbs. or more). -HVAC Expertise: Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair. -Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups. -Education & Experience: High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Combination of experience and education will be considered. -Licensing: Valid Driver’s License required.
